Las Fallas Poster

The goal was to design a poster for the annual Las Fallas celebration held in Valencia, Spain. The central design is meant to replicate a paper collage to represent the fact that the event revolves around building and burning large, surreal paper mache statues. Carnations and fire are used heavily throughout as they are central symbols to the celebration. Additionally, the Valencian tile pattern in the background pays homage to the birthplace of the event.
